Day 1
Oslo-Myrdal-Flam-Gudvangen-Voss (or v.v.)
Depart Oslo on the Bergen Railway, one of the world's most spectacular train journeys! Pass through expansive forests, secluded lakes and shimmering glaciers. Change trains at Myrdal to begin your journey on the Flam Railway. The descent through the wild Flam valley is often described as a most breathtaking experience. From Flam a ferry carries you through the narrow Naeroyfjord, before arriving in Gudvangen where you board a local bus for a drive through the Stalheim Gorge, with its two superb waterfalls on each side of a road that zigzags dizzily up the valley (alternate route applies in winter). Then along the main road to Voss for overnight stay at Fleischer's hotel. D
Day 2
Voss-Bergen (or v.v.)
Voss, a large community set in the heart of Norwegian fjords, has preserved its many traditions dating back 3000 years. In the afternoon depart Voss by train to Bergen where your Norway in a Nutshell tour concludes on arrival. B
