NOTE: Singles may travel as long as at least one other participant is booked and confirmed as the tour requires a minimum of two people to operate. If no other participant(s) travelling, then the cost for a single traveller would be double the twin per person rate.
What's included
As specified in the above itinerary, arrival, lodging, transportation within Costa Rica, meals [B=breakfast, L=lunch, D=dinner], specified entrance fees to National Parks & Private Reserves, bilingual naturalist licensed guide services, ground operator support within Costa Rica 24/7, and taxes
What's not included
International airfare, airport departure taxes, meals not specified in the itinerary, alcoholic beverages, personal equipment, extras in hotels (laundry, phone calls, and room service), gratuities, or costs associated with changes in your itinerary for reasons beyond our control.
NOTE: There is a 25 lb. per person baggage weight limit for transportation on domestic airline flights and small boat trips within your itinerary (including all carry-on and stowable luggage). The airline and boat operators enforce these limitations on your checked baggage for safety reasons. To comply with these requirements, we suggest that you repack only the items needed for the portion of your itinerary that includes these modes of transportation, and leave other items behind in storage. If you are returning to the same San José area hotel, simply request to store your excess luggage at the hotel. If you are not returning to the same hotel, give your extra baggage to your transfer driver to be stored by your ground operator. Request that your luggage be brought to you upon your pick up and return transfer from the plane or boat portion of your trip. Please ask your driver/guide in Costa Rica if you have any additional questions regarding this policy.
ARRIVAL SERVICE: For all arrival transfers after clearing customs please remind guests to use the exit on the right hand side. Our representative is not allowed to go inside the terminal, therefore, he will be waiting for them outside this right hand exit. Our guide will be properly identified with Sun Tours t-shirt and acrylic board with the guests name on it.
The Airport service that we hire is called CANATUR and they usually meet clients at the bottom of the electric stairway after immigration but before customs. This is an additional service that we hire to help us locate our guests faster, however, guests must still locate our guide outside of the right hand exit of the terminal.
How to Book
The completion and return of the booking form is mandatory to the acceptance of reservation. We advise that you book as far ahead as possible. To initiate your reservation, please complete the Booking Form which must be signed and returned to Adventure Associates along with the applicable Deposit. Reservations are established only when you receive written confirmation and acceptance of the Booking Form and deposit payment. Ticketing and joining instructions are normally issued two weeks prior to departure.

Should a booking be amended once reservations are processed, a $55 amendment fee per booking for each amendment made, plus any communication expenses incurred, will be added to the cost of the tour.
Cancellations
Written instructions only will be accepted by Adventure Associates to cancel a reservation. Cancellation charges are subject to regulations or airlines, cruise companies, coach and tour operators, hotels and any other Principals involved. If it is necessary to cancel your arrangements, the following non-refundable provisions will apply.

Note
- All the above amounts are in addition to any fees levied by the airlines, hotels or cruise companies. Communication charges incurred may also be added to the above.
- All cancellation provisions will be strictly applied. If the non-refundable amount is more than your advance payment, you remain liable for the difference. For these and other reasons mentioned in these Terms and Conditions you are strongly urged to take out travel insurance at the time of your reservation. Adventure Associates or your Travel Agent will be pleased to advise you on the best policy which may protect you.
All cancellation provisions will be strictly applied. If the cancellation charge is more than your advance payment you remain liable for the difference. For these and other reasons mentioned above you are strongly recommended to take out travel insurance. Once the tour has departed there will be no refund for any unused portions of the trip.
