Day 1
San José
Arrive into San José, tropical capital of Costa Rica and transfer to the hotel.
Day 2
San José
Today's tour will take you through the city's historic monuments, its museums and parks. Beginning at the Metropolitan Park of La Sabana and Rohrmoser, one of the most beautiful parks and residential areas in the city. It continues through the bank district, the Central Park and onto the Metropolitan Cathedral. The first stop is the opulent National Theatre, an historic landmark and one of the country's architectural jewels. Next is the National Museum, where the heritage of Costa Rica is displayed through its pre-Colombian art. Sightseeing continues trough the city parks and onto the University of Costa Rica. B
Day 3
San José - Corcovado
Fly to Palmar Sur. On arrival travel by car to Sierpe and then 1 hour by river boat to Casa Corcovado Jungle Lodge. Located on the Peninsula de Osa in Southwest Costa Rica, it is the closest lodge to Corcovado National Park. LD
Day 4
Corcovado
Today you have a variety of walks, hikes or treks to choose from in this inaccessible and undisturbed tropical region. In the late afternoon return to Casa Corcovado Lodge. BLD
Day 5
Corcovado
Enjoy a full day tour to mystical Cano Island. You may choose the biologist's hike, a recreational excursion or scuba diving (for certified divers only). BLD
Day 6
Corcovado - Palmar Sur - San José
Return by boat to Sierpe and continue to Palmar Sur for your flight back to San JoséB
Day 7
San José
Depart San José, or extend your stay in beautiful Costa Rica. B
