This
tour has been literally years in the making. Ever since my first visit
to Brazil thirty years ago I have been slowly plotting the ideal itinerary;
not too long, yet sufficiently varied, rewarding and interesting.
Now I’m very much looking forward to escorting a small, select group of travellers to “Bountiful Brazil.” In designing this tour, I have drawn on my past journeys to this diverse and fascinating land. I admit that our itinerary will be a reflection of my own tastes and past enjoyments – certainly we will explore many areas I’ve been longing to revisit.
Panoramic vistas, stupendous views, marvellous World Heritage architecture are all there for our delectation. But it is the wildlife of the Pantanal and the gorgeous, verdant flora of the many national parks that undoubtedly will leave the most lasting impressions.
We stay in a diverse selection of hotels, mountain and wildlife lodges, fazendas and pousadas all displaying the Brazilian traditions and outstanding design.
We also experience Brazil’s notable and varied cuisine. Most meals are included, however there are several opportunities for culinary discoveries of your own.
Travel will be mainly in our own comfortable coaches allowing us to keep airport transfers and other bottlenecks to a minimum.
Every opportunity for impromptu stops will be taken at points of special beauty and in the Pantanal we have knowledgeable local guides to take us to the best wildlife locations and photographic opportunities.
The tour cost in Australian Dollars is from AU$ 10,480 per person twin share ex Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Canberra.
