Polar Bear Quest9/11 Days. Regular sailings between June and August 2009 Our goal on these expeditions is to explore the eastern and least visited parts of the beautiful and dramatic Spitsbergen archipelago, locate wildlife and spend maximum time in the pack ice. Spitsbergen is home to approximately 5,000 polar bears, and we hope to encounter a good number during these trips. Prices from €2,950 per person. |
North of 80°14 Days - 16 August 2009 This amazing icebreaker expedition attempts to sail to the highest latitudes of the Canadian Arctic into the Lincoln Sea around Greenland. Landings are intended on Ellesmere Island, Greenland and Baffin Island. Traditionally, the Lincoln Sea is covered by the thickest ice in the Arctic Ocean. Prices from US$10,990 per person. |
Spitsbergen, Greenland & Iceland14 Days. 24 & 31 August 2009 During this voyage we intend to explore the islands of Spitsbergen, Moffen, Greenland and Westmann ending the voyage at Reykjavik, Iceland. Optional kayaking adds adrenalin to an adventure that includes Zodiac cruising and shore landings. This is a true Arctic adventure in the home of the Polar Bear. Prices from US$4,990 per person. |
