Travel Administration Assistant - Full Time (Sydney)

Adventure Associates, established in 1973, is Australia's leading adventure wholesaler and retail travel company.

We are looking for a professional, self-motivated and customer service focused person to join our Sydney office.

This is an exciting and rewarding role for anyone who is passionate about new and adventurous destinations. The role will involve providing support for our team and offers the opportunity for diverse tasks including administration, accounts, product data entry, flight booking and ticketing, dealing with both travel agents and the general public and ensuring a high level of customer service from enquiry to documentation.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the travel industry, an interest in adventurous destinations, experience with MYOB and reservation systems, good attention to detail, excellent communication and computer skills and want to work in a supportive and friendly team environment.

Part Time Travel Consultants Wanted!

Adventure Associates, established in 1973, is Australia's leading wholesaler and retail travel company specialising in travel to unique destinations. We are looking for two self-motivated and customer service focused people to fill positions as Travel Consultant - Part Time in our Sydney office. This is an exciting and rewarding role for anyone who is interested in new and adventurous destinations.

The role will involve consulting on international adventure products, flight booking and ticketing, dealing with both travel agents and the general public, high level of customer service, assisting senior consultants as required and providing support in office including answering general calls and administration tasks.

Candidates must have:

  • high motivation and work ethic
  • excellent written and spoken English communication skills
  • completed international air ticketing I & II
  • an ability to work harmoniously in a team
  • a passion for unique travel destinations
  • medium to high level computer skills including Word, Excel and Mail/Outlook
  • strong and accurate attention to detail
  • Australian citizenship or residency

Please note: For those wishing to apply as a Trainee who are completing a Certificate or Diploma in Tourism you will need to have achieved credit results in your studies and not have completed any other certificate level course.
