Antarctic Adventures
Australia’s first adventure tour operator to the Antarctic, Adventure Associates, is proud to announce the release of an all-new, comprehensive 2008/2009 brochure... Adventure Associates offer three ways to explore Antarctica.
- Ice-breaker Adventures” aboard a purpose-built icebreaker deep into icy waters, beyond the reach of all other shipping.
- Adventure Ships” aboard ice-strengthened vessels offering flexible access to places larger ships cannot reach.
- Expedition Ships” offer a perfect balance of adventure and comfort, if you prefer small-group access with the amenities of a slightly larger vessel.
All expeditions include international specialists on everything from polar exploration to Antarctic birds and marine life, providing the vital context and hands-on leadership you need to fully appreciate the Antarctic. Whether you’re sighting a whale from a Zodiac, walking a stretch of coast where few may have ventured before or watching from a helicopter as your powerful ship plows through the pack ice, you’ll experience the Antarctic as a complex, living environment with an overwhelming sense of remoteness that will stay with you forever.
