Angel Falls

Day 1
Caracas
Arrive Caracas, capital of Venezuela, located in the valley at the foot of Avila Mountain. Caracas is a mixture of the colonial and modern world.
Day 2
Caracas - Canaima National Park
Fly to Canaima National Park on the shores of Caño Zamuro. Stay at Canaima Camp, which consists of small bungalows with private facilities. You may wish to take an optional boat trip to Hacha Falls to experience the atmosphere of the jungle and mountains.BLD
Day 3
Canaima National Park
Subject to weather conditions you will fly in an aircraft outfitted with special windows for maximum viewing for a very special close up look at ANGEL FALLS, “Churum-Meru”, named after Johnny Angel, the U.S. airman who discovered them in 1937. Their unimpeded drop of 979 metres makes them the highest in the world! Absorb the moment of the first view of this lost paradise set in the heart of the Venezuelan highland plains. Afternoon enjoy a dug-out canoe ride on the Carrao River.BLD
